We believe founder problems and startup data are deeply sensitive. We treat the information you share with strict confidentiality and never sell, rent, or trade your personal or venture details to third-party data brokers or advertisers.

Depending on how you interact with ITOC, we collect information that you directly provide to us:

• ITOC Connect Requests: Name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, startup details, stage, the specific problem you are facing, steps already attempted, and the kind of person you are seeking.
• Community Memberships: Name, contact details, city chapter, LinkedIn profile, role, and areas where you can contribute or need support.
• Event Registrations: Contact info, startup name, current problem for the meetup, and payment confirmation details (processed via PCI-DSS compliant gateways like Razorpay; we never store your full card or banking credentials).
• Program, Partner & Sponsor Applications: Organizational profiles, track records, capacity, and requirements submitted through respective forms.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used strictly for legitimate ecosystem operations:

• To manually review and facilitate 1-on-1 double opt-in introductions via ITOC Connect.
• To process event registrations and issue confirmations, calendar invites, and venue communications.
• To curate cohorts for the Execution First Founders Circle and match service requirements with verified partners.
• To communicate important updates regarding your applications or upcoming community initiatives.

4. Double Opt-in Matching & Consent

In ITOC Connect, we operate on a strict Double Opt-in model. When we identify a relevant founder, expert, or operator who can assist with your problem, we brief both parties on the context before exchanging contact information. No one's phone number or personal email is shared without prior agreement.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in secure, access-controlled cloud databases (MongoDB Atlas) located in regional data centers with TLS encryption in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest. Access is restricted strictly to authorized ITOC community team members.

6. Your Rights & Data Retention
